A picture of Sir Stirling Moss driving a Lambda was sold at the autojumble this weekend. I didn't see it, but would very much like to if the buyer reads this. Otherwise, does anyone know who bought it? A mutual friend said I would know him, but couldn't remember his name!

I have discovered a bit more about the picture, which presumably started life as a photograph. I think there's more than one copy around and I attach a copy obtained from the Internet. Does anyone know where and when the picture was taken? Also, who owns (or owned!) the other Lambda which Sir Stirling is supposed to be driving?
Regards, John

It does look like a photo that's been painted over - vintage Photoshop before computers were invented! Is it just me or does it look like Stirling has been stuck on? It could just be the treatment of the photo but there's something about him, lighting etc, that doesn't look quite right.

Must admit I thought it looked like Stirling had been photoshopped into the driving seat?
