I got distracted (the cat is very persistent when it want's feeding) but here are the rest of my pictures of that Aurelia.

It just struck me that the instruments look quite unusual.

I think it's the one that was at the Bristol Italian car festival last year, I'll have a look at my photos.
It fits as the owner wasn't a LMC Member.

The restoration is stunning and looks very thorough and how encouraging to see it at the NEC......I just wish it was repainted in a colour more typical of the early 50's. I really don't want to sound critical, because clearly a huge amount of work has gone into restoring it - but an 'ice cream' or 'sweetie' colour would have made it look simply gorgeous. Metallic silver is just a touch bland - ( for almost any car)

Hi Brian, you're correct in that it was at Bristol ( and is localish to the area ) so I've seen it a couple of times. The owner is not an LMC member.

Not sure whose Stratos it was,
John and Carol Butterfield. Was so caught up talking Transformers that I didnt spot the snapper! John's car is a bit too hard core and has total Group 4 take. So pockets were empty!!!

Great display of cars. I'm always drawn to Monte Carlo's. In another life (or a bigger garage) I might have had one.

I had a good look at the silver Aurelia on Sunday , it really is a bit special !!!!.  Can anyone tell me what the two small chrome levers or pedals in the centre of both footwells operate ?.
