Just bought a well used but sound lhd 1.6 GT i.e. in France and am in need of an oil pressure sender unit (not the oil pressure switch), and a rear wiper arm and blade/washer.

Any ideas?

Thanks

19 months on and 11000km later our GTi.e. has just flown through its French mot giving us another 2 years on the road (subject to all the normal caveats...).

The tester even declared the car "propre" not that I has washed it and the body has dents every where!!

Celebrated the CT pass at a local hostellerie with an almost appropriate bottle of wine (very nice it was too as were the tapas and company).

Gave the little Delta its biannual oil and filter change too to reward it. Surprised how clean the oil was after 11000km.

These are strong little cars. Given the hammering last year in the Alps and this year on rough roads to windsurfing spots I wad expecting at least a few of the 27 year old suspenion bushes to fail the test but no, all was pronounced good!

Most appropriate!!! That it tasted good was a nice bonus.

I am glad that all is well in France and with the Delta, let us hope it stays that way!!

Flavia had a lovely morning out today, starting with the obligatory warm up run along the seafront and then stop-offs all over the town. Most enjoyable!
