The first major Prototype and GT Championship Series of the year starts today in the US of A at the 24hrs of Daytona.

It's the second year of merging the Daytona Prototypes from the Rolex Series with the P2 spec cars from ALMS, FIA WEC, etc. with "bop" (balance of performance).
Looking at the Qualifying results
http://www.dailysportscar.com/2015/01/22/tuscc-rolex-24-at-daytona-qualifying-times.html
it would seem they're closer than last year, where the P2 cars were clearly at a disadvantage.
A report can be read here
http://www.dailysportscar.com/2015/01/22/tuscc-rolex-24-at-daytona-quick-qualifying-report.html
and there's a replay here.

The race starts at 2pm EST/7pm GMT and is being covered by MotorsTV
and outside the US here

I missed posting Round 3 at Long Beach, FL on 18th April.
It's a street circuit and just the Prototypes and GTLM classes raced for a relatively short 100 minutes.
You can watch it here

Round 5.
Belle Isle Detroit.
Race start 12:00hrs ET/17:00hrs BST Saturday 30th May.
You can watch it here
http://www.imsa.com/camera/imsatv
or on Motors TV (Freeview channel 71).
The GTLM class aren't here because several teams will be at 24hrs Le Mans Test at La Sarthe tomorrow Sunday 31st May.

Yes, I also missed posting Round 4 at Laguna Seca. But I was at Spa enjoying Round 2 of WEC!
You can watch a re-run here

and it's worth a watch too. Such an iconic race-track.
