Mark,

I just pulled the needle off the gauge, measured the voltage with a multimeter and pushed it back on in the right place!
Its spot on now. Though it's a pain actually getting to the front of the gauge!

interesting thread as remember my lancias always used to under-read volts, all of them in fact.
my own frshly purchased integrale wil no doubt be the same which would annoy me so i'll check and adjust when the shell comes apart
good to know it's as simple as taking the needle off and calibrating it against a battery.  8)

tried my car this last sunday when i got it going, reads just under 12V when running, 13.7V on mulitmeter at battery so will need a tweak on the needle.
really glad you guys have done it before me to prove it works and i don't wreck my clocks  ;D

i have the same problem on my hf turbo as i did on my last hf turbo ,my v6 kappa also wasnt great either .must be a lancia thing.all checked out right for charging when tested.ill live with it for now  :)

Easy to fix when you are inclined to get the dash out...
Its not the winning but taking part! or is it taking apart?
