I always thought this casting was for either Appia or Aprilia but 2 experts have convinced me I am incorrect.
It appears to be  stamped 815 100 2160218 and is labelled 190976 / £5.20 and is new and unused. Can anyone identify what it is for?

I would suspect the 815 would indicate flavia origins, but checking the parts catalogues I could'nt find the part. (using the part number indexes in the back of the catalog)

The 815 number I have quoted may be incorrect as it is faint......to me it looks like part of a water pump maybe or some sort of other pump. Just curious....and I cant for the life of me remember where I got it so it must be a long time ago.

I am viewing this late at night after driving back from Dundee but it does look a bit like the oil filler bit that sits behind the fan but I will check later in the week. Agree a bit odd!

Thank you Colin. And now we know what it is, does anyone want it? No reasonable offer refused.
