Dear well-travelled Lancisti.

I shall be driving to Poland and back in a few weeks, and need to pit stop in Germany.  Can anybody recommend a motel-type company, like the Campanile (spelling?) or Formula One places I saw on my way through France last year.  Perhaps the two I've just mentioned are europe-wide?  Perhaps Germany has it's own uber efficient 'vorsprung durch breakfast' version?

Can anyone give recommendations?

I recommend the "ETAP" motels. They are similar to Formula 1, but the rooms each have a shower / toilet and are always clean and tidy, as well as very affordable. Regards, John
