Rather nice and looks well cared for, can't be many Uk Dedras' left in that condition, is it worth the asking price? as usual it's worth what anyone will pay for it, but it's nearly 25 years old, so under the old rules it would have been considered a classic next year, so spending about £200 on refurbishing the wheels would make it a nice usable Lancia for £2000.

Don't think I've ever seen a car before with the number of gallons marked on the fuel gauge rather than 1/4, 1/2 etc.

My Flaminia has litres marked on the fuel gauge, must test for accuracy next time I fill up.

Early Dedras' had lots of extra features and were generally high spec'd, have a look at the tool kit in the spare wheel clever piece of packaging with Jack, wheel nut spanner, screwdriver, all in one package.
Many of these features disappeared soon after with the tools in a plastic bag, note also the folding boot carpet that is attached to board that gave a strong surface over the spare wheel.unlike later cars.
My first Dedra a 2.0iese had lots of bells and whistle, including oil temperature gauge as well as oil pressure, electronic controlled suspension, electronic heating controls, there were many misconceptions that UK top spec Dedra had climate control, but this was never fitted to UK cars.
For a 1.6 it's has a good spec and much more capable than you might think for a 1600, John Brain ran one as a courtesy car and the last time I drove it it had 230,000 miles on the clock, it was fairly neglected, but had never had a major problem and went like stink!.
I wasn't a fan of the cloth upholstery in the 1600 as it tended to shred and I much preferred the Alcantara which wore very well.

Its making me nostalgic as well.  What ours did so well was keep up a high speed on poor roads without upsetting the passengers.  Haven't had a car that did that so well since.  Very easy to place, great stability.  Not too big, not too small.

My Dedra was a very late UK car, and had the tools in the spare wheel as you describe; it also had the folding boot carpet. A super car, probably the best car I've ever owned; I only sold it because Fiat UK couldn't provide the spares support I needed for an every-day car - the final straw was waiting three months for an exhaust system!

With ours it was having to trek back and forth to Barry Waterhouse which was a lot of fun before children arrived, impossible after.

I am SO happy to be back Dedra motoring but at that price you would have to seriously want one of the best. It would be very tempting to upgrade the interior.
