Surely the spares would have been more valuable!

I wonder how many were replaced by cars with a diesel engine which is the latest villain of the piece, although to anyone with half a brain other than Government Ministers etc, that always was the case, I wonder what will happen to all the smoky smelly polluting Buses, lorries & Taxis.?
Will there be another scrappage scheme?

Diesel is not the enemy - that's just BJ and the press that love him wanting us to believe EVs are "zero emissions" !

I like all types of vehicles but in truth, the latest studies show petrol cars pollute 10 times worse than diesels for particulates and actually are worse than the petrols involved in this scrappage scheme!

Diesel's thermodynamic efficiency being some 30% better than petrol also means a lot less CO2/km:

The only way petrol cars are competing is by adding heavy batteries that you have to plug in to the coal fired power stations.

Fulvia for fun and I'll be hanging onto my A2 1.2 TDI (2001), 204,000 miles for a good few near 100MPG commuting years yet:

Yes, but not THAT integrale as that's a press photo ... ? I've never heard of one on the scrappage scheme because every one know what the spares are worth - same with all Delta models

I can only think that the Integrale and Fulvia, and to a lesser extent the Betas, were basket cases that the dealers agreed to bend into the scheme?

The scrapage price would have been several times the value of even a half decent Y10. The Selectronic on e-bay at the moment is probably only worth £150 even if antone was interested.
