What a find.  Surprising how different I feel about it having seen it moving.  Reminds me more than anything of something from Robot Wars.

In 2006 at the  100th anniversary in Turin it drove into the Ars- enale under it's own power in the dark, the tail lights were really impressive, it proceeded up the ramp onto the raised platform and it was quite hilarious to see the General of the bottomnale climbing in backward and falling into his seat  Roll Eyes, easy to get into it isn't!

(Somehow 'Bottomnale' doesn't sound quite right)!

As promised, I found the clips and uploaded onto YouTube. I must have been standing just to the left of Brian (although I didn't know him at the time) when it came in Smiley good night that !

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hbt12i9gZH4

I've just realised that that was taken pretty much 8 years and one week ago !

... and just some other memories : before that arrived I'd never heard of the Stratos Zero buy was standing next to Guy (SanRemo78) who told me all about it and what it meant and so I decided it may be worth videoing it arriving .....

Happy days Steve! Glad I managed to blag a seat in it at the dinner in the Ars*nale at the end of the week. One day I might also pop the cork on the bottle of champagne I snaffled at the same do! What a week that was....

Must get back into the garage this weekend and finish off the rebuild of my car.

The motor cyclist is saying "How the hell do you get in that thing? There aren't any doors!"

Motorcyclist is saying "Real Italian drivers don't need a rear view mirror - what's behind you isn't important!"

And that's only the second pic I've seen with Stratos Zero exhibiting the screen mounted rear view mirror...
