Mike is currently registering for membership and asked if I could expedite his request!

I wonder if anyone can help me locate a car I was trying to buy and I got in contact with the owner on here but have since lost their details.
I think they (understandably) thought I was messing them around after I had to pull out after getting a rather large bill for my then car (which I was expecting) only to find the work hadn't been carried out and it all got a little ugly with the garage. (Top tip, always pay a large bill on your credit card!)

Anyway, after the best part of a year dealing with the legal aspect of the bill, everything is now sorted and am once again in the market for a car.
The car I was offered was LAC 41L and would be interested in the car or, if this car is no longer available, if anyone has something similar, I'd be very interested.

I can be contacted on 07930 953285 whilst I wait for my membership to come through and gain access to the forum.

Mike Gamble.

Good tip regarding the credit card. I hadn't thought of that method to pay a garage. I do have a car in tatty but sound and roadworthy condition which is my PF beauty. Not for sale at present. Sounds a sad story regarding the payment for work not being carried out!

Seem reasonable. If it is in Leeds as it appears I could go have a look on behalf of anyone for who it is too far to travel? Call me on 07802860165.

Now I've read the ad properly it's actually in Sunderland, so just a bit far for a casual look. Still looks good to me though unless you find some terminal rot. I'm sure it will be snapped up quick either way.

There is a Flavia mentioned in one of the current classic magazines. Tuscany is the location, along with a Flaminia Touring

There is a car listed as coming up for auction at Brooklands at the end of August:

That's a nice looking Flavia at the Historics auction at Brooklands and I would have thought the guide price was on the low side assuming the body is straight and the car runs OK. There is also a 4th Series B20 at this auction with a guide price of £150-180k! For a mildly modified competition  vehicle as well which I would have thought was worth less than a decent standard road car.
Intrigued to see what they both achieve.

The Brooklands car is certainly worth that money considering it has a better (and rebuilt) engine

Love it.... now where could I hide it from my wife?Huh?

Cheers
