I hope the rest of that tree is gone in time for the photos this year.  At the moment it looks like its an ebay photo and there's some sort of damage that needs to be hidden.

Sorry to disappoint you David, but the tree stump is still there, although since that photo was taken it's been very much modified by a guy with 6 chainsaws! Shocked

Robin

P.S. Modestine, as you know, is a shy retiring old thing so hiding behind the stump.  Embarrassed

Looks as though we've hit a purple patch in the weather for Tuesday's BBQ. Smiley Smiley

Not too late to decide to come and join us - just let me know.

Robin , they're stunning pictures - particularly the last one with the sunset - if you email a couple* then I'll create a club event and put them up on the website under the news page.

Nice to see 8 TKR again , haven't seen that since the Delta 30th anniversary shoot for Auto Italia ( that is sad but I'm consoling myself that there aren't may RHD 4WD with memorable registrations like that ! )

*Thinking about it, I can just download off the forum if that's ok ?

Steve,

The photos were taken by our son-in-law Mark Tampion-Lacey and he's more than happy for you to use them. His wife (our daughter Sarah) and their twin sons did the cooking for us.

And what a fantastic location. I had to persuade myself it wasn't the Weald and Downland Museum. Makes me want to sharpen up my mortise chisels and build something!

Hi Peter,

Welcome to the Kent/Susex Border group. It is likely that we shall be moving from The Anchor at Hartfield for the July 28th meet. An anouncement will be made here in the near future. Also if you PM me your email address I will see that you are added to Alison's mailing list.

Look forward to meeting you.

The July meeting was a great success, the new venue proving to be an excellent choice with lots of parking, plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and a very good menu of lite bites and meals.

18 mebers turned up with  several Lancias including Dilambda, Flavia Vignale, Flavia 2000 Coupe, 2000HF Coupe, Fulvia Coupe, Beta HPE, Delta FWD and Thema plus Fiat Ballila. Apologies, I'm in france and the internet connection won't allow me to post photos! Roll Eyes

Next meeting - Tuesday 25th from 6.30pm.  The Neville Crest and Gun, Eridge Road, Tunbridge Wells, TN3 9JR We plan to park at the rear of the pub although I won't be there as I'm in France with Modestine. And Margaret of course! Grin

Robin.
