I am advising a Fulvia owner who is not a forum user. His clutch may need replacing and I recall that it was possible to fit a UNO Turbo clutch as a direct equivalent of the Lancia/ Fiat one, but I forget which model. Was it the 1.4 Turbo, and if so, is this still available? Does anyone have any recent experience of this, or any other source?

Thanks, Colin

Hi Colin

I fitted 3 of these over the last 8 years to different Fulvia HFs. You need to look for the 200mm plate and I think 18 splines...best check. It was only for series 2 5 speed boxes.

Colin,

I think that I may have one on the shelf bought last year for the Fanalone but the splines were wrong size. For the Fanalone the only option is to have the plate relined which was handled by Neale Shepherd for me.

Will you be at Goodwood on Saturday?

Robin.

Surely we have reached the point where there are more Fulvias on the road than Uno Turbos??

Yes 1.4 UNO Turbo ie works but beware competition version (Valeo & OMP) has to have specially machined flywheel to cope with paddle version.

LUK and VALEO still make OEM version.

Also thrust bearing of no use as it is the wrong shape and some are made with plastic casing.

Thanks folks - all useful information which I will pass on. UNO 1.4 Turbo kits are offered on eBay for about £65, but if the correct OEM units are still available at a reasonable price, then I guess that's the way to go.
