Over the years it's been surprising how many people have thought the roof lifts off of mine like a Merc. When I first had it I used to think it was a shame Lancia never got around to a 'spyder' version but looking at those photos it doesn't really work for me. The screen is too tall and upright and it makes you realise what an important part of the Fulvia styling the roof plays.

The 'hardtop' seems to have been made fairly sympathetically, but there is no mention of how, or if, the floor pan has been strengthened?
