There's a lovely picture of Anthony Crook (Bristol Cars) racing a B20 at Silverstone in 1954 in the Telegraph's Obit.

Does this car still exist?

My father bought our 4th Series B20 from Anthony Crook Motors at Leatherhead in the summer of 1960.
In the uncertain hope that he might recall the sale (he could not), in  July 2012  I had a conversation on the telephone  with Anthony Crook who said that he had been asked to drive a Lancia Aurelia by Lancia in the production car race at Silverstone before the GP, probably in 1954.  This was because the 2-seater Bristol was not eligible. 
Practice was against 3.5 litre Jaguars etc, but Crook was forced to change tyres as he was contracted to drive Dunlop tyres & they insisted he change.  In the race the car spun wildly, revolving 7 times (according to Stirling Moss who reminds him of this from time to time) & was hit by a Daimler & damaged.  It did not go back to Lancia for repairs & was fixed at Anthony Crook Motors.  It later went to someone called Atkins & Crook recalled it being rather shorter one side than the other!
However it must have reappeared as my father was looking at it in 1959-1960, prior to buying our car from Anthony Crook Motors.

I attach the photos he took.

In 2010 I had some email exchanges which indicated that TPL 7 is still around.  I was unable to get a response to find out more.  I'd like to know the chassis number.  I think it is probably a 3rd Series?
