Winning bid 225100 dollars placed 7.5 secs from close !!!!!

My gut feeling is that, from a commercial point of view, that is high, but for someone buying it to keep, that feels quite reasonable. What do others think?

I think you have summed up the price perfectly Andy, at current exchange rates it's about £135,500 plus import duties.
I thought it was interesting that it still had the original American style rear lights, but on investigating the build data it appears that the engine and front axle are not original to the car and although the vendor says it was originally Lancia Blue on the build data sheet it says that B24S*1676 was Rosso with natural leather interior.

On the one hand the vendor's business appears to be Lancia restoration so the price might be high; however, given the latest Spider sales result, and historically with Spider premiums being double a convertible, it could also be considered a shrewd buy on the other hand....
