Guys,

Although I am  long term Flavia owner, I need some help regarding a Fulvia please.

A friend of mine had bought a Fulvia from Italy and is trying to register it in the UK, he asked Fiat Auto for a dating letter but as the Lancia records for that period
where destroyed in a flood, they cannot help.

Who would be the best person to contact in the club for help.

Thanks in advance,

Bob Dow

Contact club secretary Barbara Longlands. See back of VL. She may be outof action for a few weeks so dont panic. It is acomplicated process as indicated on this forum and in VL

Hope that helps. Of course it may require a club recognised person knowledgable about Fulvias to see the car to verify documents and chassis numbers.

Bob,
You'll still need to go through
Barbara for a dating certificate but if you have the model and chassis number I can give you the year it was built, I posted up some unseen documents about a year or so ago that no one knew existed, Tim Speechley who used to be the man you contacted at Fiat UK for a letter for the DVLA, had no knowledge of these documents, neither had Lancia in Turin so copies were supplied to them as well, so I'm surprised Fiat UK say they can't help.

I've just found the post relating to this see http://www.lancia.myzen.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=5435.0
in an aswer to Stan Sweet. post number 11 10th October 2012

Just looking at those sheets again Brian. 1963 Flaminias are pretty rare - they made three!

Brian, Simon, Tim,

Thanks for all that, I have passed it on to my friend, hopefully it will help his cause.

As usual, you guys in the club always come up trumps !
