Hi All, having to re-advertise my car for sale due to time being wasted in Italy!

Thesis Centenario, Sept 2007, only 100 made to celebrate centenary, Grigio palladio with dark red Poltrona Frau leather interior, special design alloy wheels (4 new), 85,000kms from new, 2 owners, myself and Lancia director in Torino, full service history, very good condition, interior like new, 4 good tyres, MOT till March, car is in great working order no faults.
Car is presently in Torino.
I will accept any serious offers above £7,000

There maybe another one for sale v soon- mine!

Our company as off 09.00hrs today has ceased trading, become insolvent and the administrators have been brought in. The staff have been told to go home and await further news but have also been advised to seek alternative employment.

Don't really want to sell it but may end up with no choice unless another position comes up soon.
I will keep you posted.

Cheers & best wishes to all in the LMC.

I'm sorry to hear that news Paul and hope that the New Year brings better news for you and everyone you worked with. I hope you manage to hold onto the car too.

Sorry to hear your bad news Paul, having been in the same position more than once I know what it feels like, fingers crossed that it turns out for the better, but why do these blasted Companies seem to take great delight in doing it around christmas time. Angry

Mine was late November.  At least Christmas is time away from routine and with friends and family anyway.

Good luck - and here's hoping, with hindsight, it can be for the best.

Paul, that is so tough, especially at this time of year.

There can never be a good time for news such as this. The whole construction industry has been in the doldrums for some while, but at least the housing sector has begun to pick up and hopefully the rest of the industry will follow soon. I hope that means you will soon get back into work and can keep both your life on track and your Thesis.

Good luck,

Thanks all for your kind thoughts and words.

It is a very inconvenient time to lose my job especially on the last working day of the year (civil engineering contractors tend to shut down for a fortnight at Christmas), however I have a few contacts in the construction industry and a few leads so hopefully should not be out of work for too long.

As some of you know I chose to opt for the car allowance rather than the company car, that way it allows me to drive a modern Lancia on a daily basis, with a new company I may no longer have that choice which will be a shame.

Cheers.
