Yes we are still having the Goodwood Track Day next year on 25th May 2013 as part of the great Fulvia 50 Weekend but would you like another track session to celebrate the Fulvia, this time in front of thousands of rally fans?  If so we need to raise 20 'promises to enter' next year's Castle Combe Rally Day.  This is one of the biggest events they run and will be in August or September 2013 - exact date tbc.  We can have 4 sessions of 5 laps each.
If you have been to this event before, you will know how good it is, but if not and you have an interest in rallying and rally cars and would like to see some top names demonstrating their superb car control, then you will enjoy being part of this event.  I entered my Fulvia this year and thoroughly enjoyed taking part in such a big event at a reasonable price.  The top driver this year was Norwegian Petter Solberg; it was very entertaining to see what he could do with a car which to the normal eye looked to be going much too fast - very impressive, they operate at a totally different level to us mere mortals!  This year the entry price for the 4 x 5 lap sessions was about £100 which included entry into the paddock for 2 cars, 4 adults and 4 children per entrant, encouraging you to bring the whole family, and a designated area for our Club "camp/display park".  Similar restrictions to Goodwood, the car has to pass the 100db noise check and driver and passenger have to wear helmets.
If you are interested, it does not have to be restricted to Fulvias we can make up the numbers with other Lancias too, please let me know ASAP so I can pre-book our Club entry as soon as the date is finalised.  Do not leave it - "to do later", reply now!

Not yet Tim, as their date will depend on the date of Rally GB of Wales which has not been finalised yet apparently!  I will update as soon as I know.

Could be problem as September is the chosen month for the Fulvia unofficial run to Turin, although awaiting final date.

I have no further news on the Fulvia trip than already noted but I suspect 21st does not clash. However, it may be a mad dash back if Torino is on the w/e of the 14th!!

That is true, but it can be a nice alternative to those unable to make Torino.

As you have seen, the 2013 Rally Day is on the 21st September and so far I have 10 people who have shown interest in taking part so we are half way there.  If we can enter 20, then we will be able to have Lancia only sessions and as each session will cost £400, that makes an individual cost of only £80 for the day - very good value.  I know 20 cars on the track at once seems like a lot but if, as I hope most of them are Fulvias, the low speed difference should not cause any issues.
If you have not already, please let me know if anyone else is interested as I will keep you informed by direct e-mail.  The organisers have asked for some photos for their pre-event publicity so anyone intending to enter have good quality photos which are copyright free, preferably action shots, please send them to me, you may be one of the lucky ones chosen!

Chris, how long do they want to wait for photos ? It would be easy enough to get them at the Goodwood Track Day ....

I'd be more than happy if anyone wanted to use one of my pics, the last 7 Goodwood track days can be found here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/tonysphotos/collections/72157623949979681/ all can be downloaded full size

I hope to be going to Rally day this year, I'll inquire to shoot trackside

Great event and good selection of Lancia at the entrance to the show. Two good track sessions as well with Lancia only which was nice. I've updated the new page with a couple of pictures on the website.
