Hi,

A very old friend of mine has asked me if I can find out anything about a 1.3 s3 that used to wear the number plate NMO 966P. It is a blue S3 1.3 coupe, RHD. It had apparently had a lot of restoration about 10 years ago. It is now in Jersey and for sale on car & classic
My friend has had a number of Fulvias over the years and so is quite conversant with the general things to look for, but I think he hopes to avoid a long trip in vain.
All help gratefully received. You can email me at jaisharmalimited   a t hot mail.

Many thanks!

I'm sure this car was for sale about 6yrs ago on ebay, its had 1600 arches fitted and was being sold due to a family "break up" , pretty sure it was done by omicron from memory and had had a fortune spent on it,

Worth a call to Omicron I would have thought. I understand they keep an extensive dossier on all their restorations.

Although the listing date for this Fulvia shows 18th Feb 2013 I'm pretty sure that it has been on the market for 6 months +.
I have been looking for a Fulvia fairly actively for the last 6 months and have seen this one fairly regularly over that time. Look nice and I particularly like the sunroof. However, in my humble opinion the price is very high for a Series 3.

You can get some bigger pictures from the Le Riche website http://www.leriche.com/sales.php?car=321

I live in Jersey and have seen this about a couple of times in the past. It looks very nice although I've never given it a close look over.

I'd have thought for a mint car that has been fully restored then the price was not too bad.

There is some more discussion about it here from 6 months ago

Hi Jai

I was in Jersey last May when they held their annual Classic weekend. A good number of dealers had their wares on display, including this car. It did look the business I must say, visually stunning (wasn't that keen on the colour), and from memory just as good inside. There was no-one around to lift the bonnet, and I didn't have magnets etc to go crawling around and under it so I cannot comment if it was all fur coat and no knickers, but I remeber thinking it was a lot of money. It's certainly been around for some time and I wouldn't offer more than 75% of the asking price as an opener.

Regards

Hi again Jai

Just to add that I seem to remember it was a grand or two more last May so maybe there's more movement.

Thanks Derek.

By the way, it seems to be Blu Vincennes. Does anyone know if that was an original colour for a 1.3 S3 of that year?

Not sure, but it looks like the same colour that Western Lancia did a part restoration on http://www.westernlancia.co.uk/lancia_fulvia.html

The chassis number is for a 1975 S3 about halfway through the production numbers for that year. It however has a S1 steering wheel with S2 horn push, S2 dials (black), S2 door cards and black carpets, S3 seats, S2 gear Knob, the sill stainless steel mouldings are missing. The engine rocker cover is black crackle finished S1 item. The rear badges are mounted too high, they should be inline with the center line of the rear lights.

Hi Jai

Just found my holiday snaps from last year and need to correct my info, as it was £11950 at the time.
