I've stumbled across a fantastic website that identifies cars in movies and TV programmes.  You can look up info by marque or by title.  I've put a link to it on my Giro website.  Click on the black and white picture with the white Flavia, labellled "Lancias in the movies".

There are lots of Lancia appearances in numerous Italian and French movies, but surprisingly there are lots in the Sweeney and the ITC series like the Protectors and the Saint.  For the pre-war fans there are numerous shots of Theta et al in the Last Emperor.  A warning to the Gamma fans - there is a very badly butchered Gamma Coupe featured in an episode of a series called Hamish Macbeth.  I will say no more, you never know a Gamma owning member might have lent it to them or still own it.....

Anyway here's the link http://web.mac.com/girodisalopia/iWeb/Giro%20di%20Salopia%202007/Lancia%20Links.html

Hi. Hav'nt bothered to check ,but it's usally not known about, but my dads old LAMBDA  BCO 987 was used in a couple of films in the 50s called I think Secret of Blood Island , and the other one was I think  called Return to Blood Island. The car was used as a Japanese Staff car to transport some high ranking people around, and in one of these films you saw the car being blown up, but in reality they just put a crack in the windscreen. So there you have it!!
