Any idea what this is used for and value?? I think it may be Aprilia, trying to reduce size for pics,cannot upload pics,send me email address and i will send pics, maybe someone can post the pics

Roger,
I think this is the castellated tool for adjusting the door hinges. If you can't find a use for it, then I would be a happy purchaser.

It looks to me more like the tool used to undo the cap under the front suspension sliding pillar. The idea being to lower the car onto this tool with the other end of it resting on a bottle jack - then with lots of effort on the tommy-bar the cap should undo and allow the spring to be expanded downwards and released in a controlled way. A similar tool will do the same job on Augusta, Aurelia and probably Appia too.

I bow to your rather more comprehensive knowledge ... and there must be a very similar tool for the door-hanging adjustment. Anyone got one ?
