It may be that I have missed an informative post somewhere .....  but does anyone have a clue as to when the 'Lancia in the UK' book is going to be in readers' hands ?

There was a note somewhere (Dec VL??) about a delay to check copyright.

Tim,
Thank you : I wonder whether Jack or another can update us as to when the copyright delay will end, and the finished book arrive ? Like others, I sent the cheque in July 2012 and it was cashed in December, sorted of expected it by Christmas. Now, will it be Feb ?, March ?

The fact that 10 was cashed in December was probably more to do with cheques going out of date after 6 months and having trouble clearing - or isn't that the case anymore?

I've lost more than 10 down the back of the sofa plus I have absolute belief that the LMC are not likely to run away with my money so not that bothered when the money was cashed.

The book will come when it comes..... Cheesy

I suspect the book is going to be one of those things which you anticipated greatly when you send the money (albeit 10 was a fairly lowly sum given its likely real cost) and then like me you pretty much forget about it having been ordered/paid for and then when it arrives you are (hopefully) really pleased with the surprise. I have quite often bought a few items on Ebay et al at the same time and quite enjoyed something arriving you had completely forgot about.

So suggest we all keep quiet until the day arrives......

I for one have at least 3-6 months reading already stacked up, so no great urgency here.

David Meluish asked me just to confirm to the forum that the cheques were cashed to avoid the going out of date. Card purchases and cash will be dealt with similarly to give the book cashflow for printing. No further news I am afraid.
