This weeks Classic Car Weekly, Wednesday 16th January 2013,
on page 50 is advertising a 'Lancia V4 Engine.
£125 or best offer.
Complete Engine including carb (s?) and dizzy.
Condition unknown.
Buyer Collects'
07976 426682,0208 6746354.jules@vegasdesign.co.uk

Got to be worth that for spares alone.
While on the subject does anyone know if Fulvia distributors were used on any Fiats or any other make for that matter?

This is the sort of info vital to keep a percentage of our cars on the road as econmically viable concerns.....do we/did we have an alternatives parts thread for each model or the range?

Who knows it is a Fulvia - fairly likely but not definate - guess the multi carbs give it away

Now why didn't I ask that question instead of assuming it was a Fulvia engine? mainly because it was the most likely option, well now I have, and a very apologetic advertiser says it's actually a Beta engine Shocked  he's going to send me a photo as he doesn't even know what capacity the engine is, he also has the 3 piece grille for a 2000 Berlina that he'll send me photos of as well.
Sorry if I mislead anyone but my intentions were honourable Embarrassed

Not really much of a bargain given the condition. My guess is that it's a 2 litre carb, the most common Beta engine. Not sure how he ever mistook it for a V4. Nice grille though, it's a real shame that so few Flavia saloons have survived.

He's open to offers on the engine but thinks the grille is about right going by ebay Huh?
