I notice one is coming up at Coys auction, a LHD road car. No connection to me! Estimate £30-35k
I found it funny that the new brake pads showed it had been serviced!

Not sure the bit about chassis number is particularly revealing  Cheesy  but it looks the real deal.

Be interesting to see what it achieves as I'm not aware of a Fanalone being sold publically in the UK for a fair few years. Also interesting is that it's an Italian car being sold in a UK auction, one would thinnk the market is stronger in Europe especially for a LHD car?

Agreed, I couldn't see the logic in selling it here, although there must be some. On top of the final price will be buyers commission at 10 or 15% I suppose.

This seems to be an advert for the same car:

http://www.classiccarsforsale.co.uk/classic-car-page/188394/1970-lancia-fulvia/

but it shows a different car? The engine photo from the coys site is the same one as on here although the car obviously isn't.

Initially, they used a library photo of the competition car. Only later did the Coys website move to pictures of the car which they are auctioning. I think the ad you link to had the old photo.

Looks like it sold for a very respectable £35,600

Respectable but the T&C's  Shocked  :

buyer paid 15% + VAT on top so about another £6k (~ £41k total) still perhaps a bit lower than mainland Europe price, and the seller paid 10% + VAT (~£4k). Coys pocketed £10k before expenses. Wonder if it stayed in the UK?

The Competition car shown on advert is actually of Peter de Wit's rally car taken in Haarlem Holland.

It has Gp4 arches whereas auction car had std/gp3
