Hi P
I remember when the chaps in the VSCC used to say things like that about SS Jaguars. And Austin 7's are now revered beyond all logic.

It may be that in 50 years time people will not credit how hedonostic we were in our big thirsty Grand Tourers!

The term "cobbled together" to me is much more appropriate to the construction methods used on the body of the B20 than to the production of 1.7 million Y10's.

Incidentally, to rub salt into the wound, there was apparently a Y10 special edition called an Appia.

I shall put my wooden spoon away now!!

Ben....don't put the wooden spoon away quite yet........Wink

So are you equating style, originality and general fabulousness of the B20 with the Y10.08978??!! The B20s were hand made......untouched by cold robotic "hands".....just by the utter brilliance of the Lancia panel men.

Thats the thing....no logic was applied to the Y10...just fill that market segment and have done.

Nothing hedonistic about a big engine.................Smiley

My wounds are all intact....rub away....Smiley

PS Ben..this is not me arguing....just stating simple facts.....Wink.....Smiley

"I love my appias I think they are far nicer than Aurelia".

Some I know for myself, some I can guess, some I've heard but I'd love to hear more...from anyone...
