Pardon Frank, I can't see anything either side of the Appia!
The Flaminia has a Flavia Zagato on it's right, and what appears to be a Fulvia Coupe? on it's left, but I'm probably wrong as I don't recognise the cutouts for the lights.

Apologies Frank, on reflection the front view in the centre  looks like a Pinin Farina or a Viotti Appia Coupe, although from what you can see of the back window aperture it's not the same, but it's certainly not the same car as the rear view of the convertible he's advertising.
I just blew the picture up and the board with pictures on the left seems to be the Flavia Zagato in happier days.
Where are our Appia experts!

Not an Appia guy!

However to me (stepping up to the plate....):

The car is an Appia Vignale, pictured from the front with hardtop, from the back without!

Left is a Flavia Zagato, right a Panhard CT24

Guys it a late Appia convertible for sale with a very nice hardtop but in need of a lot of work and money.
Mine had the same hard top.
The guy has a flavia zagato on the right in pieces by the looks .
To be frank cheap price for parts as its got a 8 port zagato engine in but to restore this 20000 won't touch the sides  Chris longs sold for less than 16000 restored

One is the carburettor , but I have seen done other pics from another source .
I love my appias I think they are far nicer than Aurelia but they don't have any value I am busy repainting my series 3 just the paint and time doing a rust free car I have owned 20 years seems to add up in material cost to over 3000 . I think a lot of peple think they buy a bargain by buying a project that's is the  biggest mistake  I have done 3 cars now in the last year partly fun partly investment. You will not restore a car for under 30000 wether  it's a Appia or a fulvia or a Aurelia or any car as that is the going rate buying a car for a bargain is a restored car  as its a fix price.

I suppose it depends how much work or how skilled you are in some areas.

I have no doubt profit is there when done on a commercial basis, but for me, its the whole being involved, seeing something ready for the scrapheap being made roadworthy again, especially in this throwaway world..............

Restoring Appias is an absolute gold-mine compared to Y10's.

I have just spent about 3 weeks repairing the back end cills etc of my Selectronic  and struggled to get 500 for it with a full MOT and very low mileage to boot.
It will of course out-perform an Appia any day and in considerably more comfort! The GTI will probably out perform an Aurelia! Funny old world isn't it.

....small point Ben.....no one will even remember that Lancia/FIAT et al cobbled together the Y10 in 50 years time....whilst the Aurelia will still have pride of place in the all times great hall of fame....Smiley

Totally agree mr Parisian but yes I think we all have that inkline to rescue cars but  we all do it for the love there is a very few that makes money out of it.
The only cars I ever made a small amount of money on we're the ones I washed and polished and sold on the rest always made either a loss or just recovered its money .
