Never seen a news sheet 'in the paper' ... who did the cartoons on the front ?

Don't know if there's a contents spreadsheet anywhere ?

... but looks like it'd be a good winter 'scanning' project for someone! Smiley - unless we have them in electronic format already ?

Eddie Gee was the cartoonist. When he was not using his graphic skills he specialised in rescuing Lancias, particularly Asturas from various scrapyards, barns and goodness knows where else !!!!

Eddie is not listed in the current Register, but there is a D Gee and an A Gee, relatives perchance Huh? They  both have Leicestershire addresses, when I visited Eddie in the 70's he lived near Southampton.

Would Messrs D and A Gee please advise.

Just to explain a bit more about the News-sheet. In ancient times the LMC had two regular publications. There was a News-sheet that came our monthly – this was for, (surprise, surprise) news! It included details of forthcoming meetings, events, cars and parts for sale etc. See sample attached from 1968, when it was produced laboriously by John Maltby and helpers using a Roneo type hand printer. There was also a quarterly Journal, which was more professionally produced with longer and more informed articles with photographs. See sample of front cover attached from 1977 that just happens to have a photo of Barrie Crowe’s B20 racing with Barry Waterhouse’s Fulvia Zagato (“Rasttos”).

For many years the editorship of the Journal was with Nigel Hargreaves and later Brian Long, and they maintained a very high standard of production.

The editorship of the News-sheet went through several different hands, including Ted Gibbs for many years. Then, for a long period it was edited and produced by Ade and Ed Rudler, and under their enthusiastic care it became less of a monthly news update, and complete with photographs, it became more of a magazine. The popularity of the News-sheet meant that it somewhat overshadowed the quarterly Journal. I forget when it was, but the decision was taken to blend both Journal and News-sheet into a single monthly publication, and hence “Viva Lancia!” was born!
