Shocked unless theres been a change of plans the integrale will be an 8v.

...... and the "forgoncino" will probably be a furgoncino.

Friday was very busy. I have included pictures some of which will appear in Retro-Speed, they have been reduced to small size to avoid copyright infringement which automatically covers our photo archive. High res versions are available on request. Apologies if this sounds pompous.

The auction takes place this afternoon. Full details of cars including the lhd Gamma and Beta at www.silverstoneauctions.com. The lighting at NEC is appalling and I apologise on their behalf for the poor image quality. Even with the Canon pumped up to 6400 and a 2.8 70/200 lens everything looks as though it's taken in the desert!

Peter,
I don't even bother attempting to get decent photos at the NEC these days, as you say, terrible lighting.

Lin and I will be there about midday. Could be more light as it's not overcast.

The LMC Stand plus the Betaboyz and the the Montecarlo stands were, as ever, excellent and I thoroughly enjoyed my day (yesterday).

It was good to meet so many people and especially Frank (Parisien) as we mused over the technicalities and pitfalls in restoring an Aurelia.

Congratulations and thank you to everyone who made it happen.

Andy.....not only was I surprised to see you there, but truly delighted. Also meeting Peter, Derek, Don, Diane, and Ben, by way of introduction was very good of you. Spending time in Don Cross's company was indeed inspirational......the LMC is a very blessed club in having such wonderful members! The effort involved in thinking up, putting up and manning the stand, is no mean feat and I take my hat off to all involved.

The selection of cars on the stand was fabulous......bar the lack of anything Aurelia related.

This had been my first time at the NEC Clasic car show and it was very worthwhile.

Will stick up a few pics later......once again, a big thanks to all who put in their time and enthusiasm on behalf of the LMC

Frank,
It's a general problem with Lancia - there are too many models ! It's a good thing but no matter what is on the stand , you'll never cover it all ... Smiley

I'm being selfish...Steve.... Grin...but having seen a few B20s in the flesh......they are so easy on the eye......and I would say a model of the Lancia range which would draw more members of the public to our stand.

I don't know the ins and outs of what space we are allocated or why, but we have way more interesting plus pertinent cars than lots of the mundane marques on display.

I am still on that vertiginous learning curve guys..........its about 10000 metres in height and I'm at 1.5 metres!!!!
