Looking back at my photos from Chelsea AutoLegends in September I am prompted to make this post. The Gulf Ford Porsche stand had some mouth-watering cars including the two shown in the photos below. I just happened to notice that both of these cars are fitted with Cibie headlamp units identical to those fitted to most Fulvia Zagatos.

I know that these units are difficult to come by now, so if you are desperate you might keep an eye open at breakers yards to see if the odd Gulf GT40 or Porsche is being broken for spares. (Dream on ….)

I wonder if they nicked them from a Citroen Ami which shares the same light glass (convex not like R12 convex)....You might see more Gulfs than Ami's down the breakers yard??!! Grin
