Now I know what a Thesis looks like, I am not au fait with the current models.

You summarised it all very well there Brian, I am looking forward to the next series even though Lancia appearances are few and far between !!!

Happy viewing Tim !!

Hi Brian

Yes, watched it last night. My wife loves it. It's very strangely shot, like an '80s low budget drama! And why can't he afford a better car? Someone should offer him a Lancia, obviously.

I just love the typical Italian gestures, shrugs and the hands! Catarella cracks me up, as did him trying to explain the other girl to Ingrid! and how it's shot really suits the programme.
I'd hate to see him treat a Lancia the way he treats that poor old Tipo, must be a nightmare keeping a car clean there with all that dust Shocked

The dusty Green Tipo looks exactly like my dad's one - it's done over 200,000miles (TDS) and mechanically very sound - however, being a farmer he's not keen on washing or polishing it!

Another episode Montalbano is unimpressed by a Ferrari and jumps back in the old Tipo!

In case you've missed it, the Young Inspector Montalbano is running on Saturday nights at 9pm, he has the Tipo but it's obviously newer and in better condition! tonights programme featured a Silver Thema and a white Y10.

hopefully recorded it for tonights watching....

Last week a Thema Police car put in appearance and a passing Y10.
Last night there was a Metallic Grey Thema parked up, but going by the wheels it was an 8.32 and looked good enough to have been the genuine article.
I think it's fair to say I'm hooked Roll Eyes

although not as good as last year's offerings, 'The Young Montalbano' continues to include continued treats for Lancia fans. Last week a '2000' dressed up as a wedding car - the very same model I owned once.

Yes Frank but it was the young Montalbano, and a red evo made a brief appearance Grin
