Again sorry to be slow to report on this! This was the second Rendezvous of the year and this time was in the forecourt of Millbank Tower rather than the Royal Hospital Chelsea. As usual it was a good mix of outstanding cars and it was interesting to see the attention commanded by Lancias outside their usual Lancia-only context. Vernon Holdaway’s Evo attracted many favourable comments, as did my Fulvia.

The Chelsea Rendezvous events are now run by the Club 96, but the Sunday gatherings are open to all Lancias. The next one is on 27 May and will be back at the Royal Hospital site.

Colin,

I'd be grateful if you could give ALL the dates/locations for this year so we've got a chance to join you at some point !

Regards,
Martin.

In my earlier post I mentioned that these meetings are run by Club 96, which is now a membership based organisation. For the Sunday morning Chelsea gatherings these events are open to visitors including all Lancias. However, the event this coming Sunday 27 May is a bit different – it will be at the Cannizaro House Hotel on Wimbledon Common and it is probably better to think of this as a members only event.

The next one at Chelsea is due to be on 10 June when again it should be open to all. I'll put up another post on this nearer the day

How does one become a member? It sounds a rather exclusive outfit.

Colin,

Steve posted a link earlier to the Club 96 website where you can see details including how to apply for membership - see http://www.96club.co.uk/index.php/2012-events .  I should say that I am not a paid-up member – I am merely a well-meaning messenger who enjoys going to some of the open events!
