Filling out the booking form for Fulvia 50 I notice that unusually you are not asked which car you are planning to come in. I feel that it would be a pity to miss the opportunity to provide an entry list that would no doubt be of interest to members in years to come and also a useful addition to the club archive.

It is entirely likely that many Fulvias will turn up on the day unannounced and it might be a good idea to have a Visitor's Book to add them and their owners to the list.

That's a good point Robin

We can do that using the database , if members wish to ? We can also complete the list retrospectively by recording the cars that turn up.

You can register a car you own by logging onto the database http://www.lanciadb.co.uk , clicking on the "Fulvia 50th" event on the front page then you'll see on the next screen a dropdown list of your cars. Just select the car you're bringing and it'll be registered to the event. I can produce a simple list for everyone from that (ie: spreadsheet) (with pictures too I guess)

As an added bonus, if you go and register your car you'll also be able to see other members who've registered.

Hi Roger, I missed that comment - sorry for not getting back ! You're not showing as owning cars currently in the database so that would explain the empty dropdown. You should see the people registered - unless it's just me as admin that can see them !

Anyway, the reason for the post on here was I was going to Goodwood for the social and wondered what the ETD was from the hotel on Saturday - as I'll be driving past it on the A34 ....

Those with morning or all day track reservations I suspect will be leaving the hotel quite early (certainly before the hotel is up for breakfast as a doggy bag has been organised). I plan to be at the track by c 7.45am! There has been no suggestion of going in convoy but I probably would not want to do that anyway (getting last minute petrol etc).

Anyone know if the Aero Club at Goodwood will be open for lunch?

It wasn't a couple of years ago and a burger from the chuck wagon isn't my kind of thing.

"Believe" ? Hmmmm
Fortunately Brian has confirmed that it actually is open.

I don't know what weather forecast you've been listening to Tim, (or you're a lot tougher than me), but I don't call it picnic weather.

However, see you on Saturday.

This isn't the Rover Enthusiasts Club, or some other boring English marque. I hoped for a bit more la passionata rather than pass the umbrella !

In fact it is a slightly international gathering so hopefully the rainclouds will stay away and the sun will shine so that we can parade in our Fulvia 50 t-shirts (with suitably matching other attire of course) and the brolly of introspection, charming and all though it is, can remain folded and furled....

Saturday seems a long way off from where I'm sitting - is this a sign I might be turning "English" in anticipation?

Gents, I live just a couple of miles from Goodwood and the weather for Saturday will be fine.
Am; Sunny/Sunny intervals. Wind:10-12 northerly turning north-westerly pm. Ok, not as warm as we'd like but still ok for alfresco dining.
Looking forward to seeing lots of Fulvia's........... i remember Fulvia25!
