Our front doors in the Aprilia have dropped and we are about to attack them. Any advice on this? We are more used to vintage cars which either have no doors or have simple hinges that any home handyman could fix. The Aprilia seems disturbingly modern and any tips would be gratefully accepted,

I'm just in the middle of doing this job myself on my aprilia, behind the trim panel on the A post is a huge Lancia nut that you need to loosen off, when this is loosethe hinge can be rotated to move its position either forwards or backwards to move the position of the door, in the hinge itself there are grubscrews through the socket of the hinge (on the body) to stop the ball end (on the door) popping out, loosen these off 1st and with the door open slightly not fully the door will lift out of the hinge, you lift vertically then pull the door backwards and its off, check where the door hinges attatch to the doors them selves as both my front doors have cracked around the hinges causing them to drop and flex, this is only really visable withe the hinge off the door
