How about an 8v turbo instead. Probably ex Thema. Bought in error as spare for Integrale. Dont know how easily it would mate to Beta gearbox? Sound condition. Currently with head off for inspection.   £150

Hi,thanks for reply,i need a north-south engine,(inlet towards front of car) so unless it is a fiat croma turbo engine then not suitable for me,is it a balancer shaft type motor, what are engine numbers?
thanks

Hi Mark
Yes it is a ballancer-shaft engine.Exhaust M/F and turbo at front,Inlet M/F at rear, looking from front with flywheel to right. Plus the base of the sump is angled to accomodate a forward lean of the installed engine.
There is no ident plate on the engine. It has "cast in" numbers
                          M801F120
                          7637874         on the front and
                                                                            V  C
8 C 3 0              on the back of the block.

I would be interested if anyone can tell me its likely origins.

How complete does the VX engine need to be? - are you just looking for the full engine or are you looking for something complete with ancilliaries and blower as well?

Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car. Oversteer is when you hit the wall with the back of the car. Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall and torque is how far you send the wall across the field once youve hit it.
