Did anyone on here succumb to the charms of the nice blue with red 2000 HF that was on ebay - seemed someone snuck in and made the only bid at £6900.  A very good price for what looked like a terrific example.

Hi All

Looking at the bid history of the winner, it looks like someone in the motor trade, so I guess we may see it appear on someones forecourt/website sometime soon unless bought to order of course.

I seriously thought about buying this car before it's current vendor- it was at a dealer in East Anglia I think at about £8k so he's lost a bit on it. Fantastic car at a good price. Lucky new owner!

is this the same car? I thought the first one was blue. Its also at a much cheaper starting price (although is there a reserve?).

Same car, same seller, being re-listed apparently beccause of first bidder pulling out due to prersonal reasons.

This time filler mentioned in a few panels, still looks lovely though. I thought it was Lancia dark blue originally as well Paul.

I spoke to a Hampshire dealer who coincidentally had seen it.  Apparently the paint is not great and it needs a respray.  Still a lovely car at the right price I reckon.  It is black.

Nice looking car allright. I dont think you will find one without filler though, Panels are impossible to find. Smiley

It sold (twice) but was not collected, so I went to see it a couple of weeks ago.
Unfortunately the pictures flatter the car.
It is full of filler in the doors and wings, and needs a complete strip down and repaint (again). It sold at Barons in 2009 for £5500, and originally was Rosso Metallic with a cream interior - I have photos of it back in the 80`s in this colour scheme.
To his credit, the guy (who was a nice chap) was not aware, and after I pointed out the problems, he re-listed it with a more detailed description.
I am still looking for a Flavia/2000 saloon or coupe myself, so if anyone can help I would be most grateful.

Yes I did see the white car.
The only problem is (and I know this will sound daft to some) I just don`t like white cars, old or new.
I`m sure many will think that with so few cars available that I am being too `picky`, but with prices as they are, I want to get the right car for me.

Cheesy I have a real soft spot for a white car - at one point had a white Montreal and white Giulia Super. No one seemed to like Alfa's that aren't red. The white HF looks very tidy mind,
