i may be moving soonish and still have my s1 fulvia sport.can anyone report positive things about any of the well known auction companies as i would prefer not to experience the problems suffered by a fellow lancia chap nearby which involved selling below reserve/lost cheques in post and not being paid without a real hassle at their head office!have tried VL classified section already.best regards richard

The more reputable the more the premiums! seriously though if you go through Bonhams or Coys you should not have a problem. H&H is also a good bet from what I have heard.

You will not get what you want by auctioning your Sport. IMHO best to market and be prepared to wait for the right offer to come along.

I would tend to agree with Tim, though will depend on your timescales I guess.

I would get it listed online in as many places as possible and see what interest you get. Assuming that it is a RHD car, then make sure you cover the countries it mainly applies to eg Japan/Australia etc.

I know many folk have a poor view of Ebay, but it does tend to get it in front of people and is pretty cheap to do as well, so assuming you do not want to run the risk of a silly final price or a waste of space bidder, then I would use it for marketing with a price which suits you. Main thing is the presentation/write up and good photos.

Just my two penny worth, hope it helps.

Ebay have classified listings with "best offer" which dealers seem to use.
