Have a couple of 1300 S2 units in various states of disrepair as well as original 818-540 but looking for S2 ratios to suit the 1600.  Sadly this happened a few weeks ago to the 818-740 box:

Just in case you are wondering about it - the 1600 HF box I offered you a year or so ago went to a new home and a new car, which I am sorry to say it has now been sold on! Such is the way of things.

Never mind Colin,  these things happen out of the blue!  At the time Neale S lent me a box.

Anyone know if S1 (540) gears/cones are similar to S2 ones? Shaft diameter may be different?
