I have been asked to publicise this new event at Brooklands this October all members are welcome and if you have a competition car you can apply to take part in demonstration runs on the MB World test track and the test hill:

BROOKLANDS AUTUMN MOTORSPORT DAY
SATURDAY OCTOBER 15TH
Brooklands Autumn Motorsport Day, to be held at Brooklands Museum on Saturday October 15th 2011, is an exciting new addition to the events calendar. Visitors can expect to see and hear a wide selection of motorsport vehicles from all eras - from historics and classics to current GT and Touring cars, from single-seaters to rally cars - in action. Selected cars will be demonstrated on the Mercedes-Benz World test track and the infamous Brooklands Test Hill.
Do you own an interesting competition car and would like to take part? For eligibility contact: gbpromotions@virginmedia.com
Trade display enquiries are welcome.
Brooklands Museum has excellent motoring and aviation exhibitions including the unique Concorde Experience. The recently opened London Bus Museum is a fascinating new attraction on the site. Ideally located for easy access from junctions 10 or 11 of the M25, Brooklands offers a great day out for all the family.

David, the bus museum has recently moved about a mile from another location, Cobham Bus Museum's website is http://www.lbpt.org/ which as more details. I have not visited it since it has relocated, but they do have a large collection of buses, old London double deckers etc.
