Are you at Goodwood this weekend? If so you are welcome to visit the International Rally Drivers Hospitality Unit (tent) next to the Rallystage where Lin or myself will make coffee, probably Lin. Ha

Will you be there on Thursday too (is there anything taking place on the rally stage before Friday)?

Hi Peter,
Will be there Saturday and look forward to seeing you and Lin again, will not be in a Lancia as Fulvia sport not ready yet and could not stand the uncomfortable drive down to Goodwood and back again in the integrale after the LMC trackday, it was sooo bad I haven't driven it since, even went on a 'Buckin Bronco' last week which was more comfortable!  Grin

My daughter-in-law Andrea has tickets for Thursday and has talked me into accompanying her ( not difficult! Cool) as Jonathan is in Germany. Probably be in Modestine.

Visited Goodwood today, a few of our favourites were there at the rally stage and one LC2, hopefully they will be action on the other three days.

Excellent day at the FoS today not least because Modestine behaved impeccably on the 120 mile round trip in perfect weather conditions through the beautiful Sussex countryside and across the South Downs.

Our tickets were courtesy of Honda (must get granddaughter to make friends with a child who's parents have a Ferrari, Alfa, Jaguar etc franchise)  so we got to drive the hill in a Civic CR something or other, and ride the Honda Big Wheel. Did get as far as the competing car's paddock but didn't make it to the rally stage, sorry Peter.

All in all a great day out.

You need two days at least to see everything, and that means overnight and the hotels in the area are chocker block and charging ridiculous prices. Still at home working but hope to get down to Goodwood just after lunch.

Peter, I agree 2 days, go Thursday look at the cars and arrange test drive (in advance or when the gates open 7am, I managed to test drive a Giulietta up the hill climb route), then you can spend time walking around looking at the stands and stalls and not be distracted by the hill climb and rally stage events, it is without the crowds of the other 3 days, you get to see the Red Arrows too.. Then go another day and watch the sprint up the hill and the rally stages at your leisure, more expense unfortunately, but less frantic as there is too much too see in a day.
