I don't know how many of those who use the forum knew Simon Bray who very sadly died, disgracefully young, of cancer on Monday the 13th of June. The funeral is to be held at 12.00 noon on the 2nd of July at Woodvale Crematorium, Lewes Road, Brighton, BN2 3QB.
Simon was a delightful man and highly skilled engineer, and was the person most entirely at home in a motor car that I have ever known. Many years ago I offered Simon a drive back from Brighton in the Lambda who, though he had never been in the car before, treated me to a display of high speed driving and faultless gearchanging, up and down the box , that after forty odd years I still find it hard to emulate.
