I second Nick's comments on this years Sliding Pillar Rally, especially memorable were the Jezuietenberg caves http://www.jezuietenberg.nl/English/english.html totally unexpected, cave drawings and sculptures like you have never seen before.
Some great cars too, including Martin Willems' Kappa plus lots of Augustas/Belnas and a good selection of Aprilias.
Well done to Eduard, Toon, Jan and their team.

Another great event. Pity about the weather, but Chris and I enjoyed it anyway. Thanks to all who organised it. Arrived home this evening with no problems apart from a tendency for the clutch to slip occasionally, but that's happened before and it always seems to cure itself before I get around to sorting it out once and for all! The Augusta covered 875 miles at about 30 mpg, much of it at 55 to 60 mph. Looking forward to next year's event in the Cotswolds. Regards, John

Yes----- a thoroughly enjoyable event. Excellent Hotel---Excellent company. Congratulations to th SP team.
My Aprilia covered  1000+ miles at over 35mpg but I admit I was taking it fairly gently in deference to the rattling big-ends.
6 volt wipers are still working away doggedly!
Only problem occured when it was our turn to drive onto the ferry and she refused to start!! The dock hands were on the case with a tow onto the boat before I had a chance to even check the spark and the problem had self-healed by the time we were back at Dover.  I think she just got hot and flustered in the queue for passport control. (Rad had started to drip (leak!) thanks to bumpy Belgium roads and I had failed to increase my top-up frequency to match)
See you in the Cotswolds in 2012.
                                                  Ben
