Aurelia 4th series

I was out in the Aurelia yesterday ( getting ready for the PR next week) and saw a nice red Beta Spider just outside Chester. We both waved furiously - a great chance encounter!

Black Delta HF Turbo or very early Integrale parked in a driveway on the left before you leave Morecambe for Lancaster (A683?).

A nice Beta Volumex turned up at a local pub meet this evening:

The owner has had it for nearly thirty years (he's the car's second owner) and is not presently a Club member...

Seen yesterday on the A38 going North just to East of Derby, a red Fulvia coupe TVT 761L going very nicely. Did not wave as I was in a Skoda!

Another Kappa Coupe is on the Hampshire roads, Geoff Wheeler from Winchester has got his 5cylinder back together after 5 month,s hard work and it goes and sounds wonderful! (It was the spare car from the 3 I bought from Dave Phillips about 18 months ago fitted with the front subframe from the other Kappa saloon) Now with Donald Smith,s example we have 3 in the Hampshire group plus Barbara Longlands 2year old Ypsilon Red and Black Twin Air Turbo which is great fun to drive even if the quoted mpg figures are a bit of a joke! If anyone else gets one of these Chrysler badged models, I now know where to obtain Lancia badges for except the radiator grille and we are working on this. Keep em rolling. Peter Gerrish

Someone was trying to tell me Fiat wasn't what it used to be.

That twin air sounds great, is really willing, fun - no change there.

When driven hard it uses a lot of fuel...no real surprise for all most feel somewhat cheated or miss-sold  Undecided

However - perhaps a better way to think about it is that they got one over on the tax man  Grin

A red Fulvia series 1 coupe seen on the A35 just south of Lyndhurst in the New Forest late this afternoon, 24/6, going towards Christchurch. Looked in fine fettle but as in Japanese mode of travel didn't wave!

Blue Thema G668VUL heading north on A1 near Ripon last Sunday. Gave him thumbs up but was ignored, probably seeing as I was in the Alfa 75 at the time. First one I've seen on the road in years!

Current generation Delta in a striking metallic green and on German plates in Uckfield yesterday. Regret, no pic...

Passed an Aurelia B20 heading in the opposite direction in Liphook, Hampshire this afternoon. It was looking great in a two tone silver and blue colour scheme.
