Anyone know who owns/drives a red Stratos Reg A3 OHF seen in Essex driven by a blonde female!!???

Yes. Owned by Gerry Hawkridge of Hawk cars (plate reads A 3.0 HF) and was being driven to/from the Stoneleigh Kit Car Show this weekend gone by his girlfriend, Ali Cobb. (And yes, Gerry also makes Ally Cobra replicas.... Kid you not!)

It's a replica in case you hadn't guessed!

Yes. A poor showing of cars this year. No Augustas, only one Lambda, one Dilambda and one Aprilia. Even only one B20 and one Aurelia Saloon. I have two pretty good reasons for my cars not attending, but why so few others?
The venue was great, apart from poor bar service and the usual extortionate price of drinks.
Regards, John

There is a theory that a lot of the sliding pillar cars have become too 'valuable' to drive around, and/or they are being bought up by investors who have no interest in using them or in their history?

Possibly too many other commitments such as work or families on a Saturday.

The weather and the forecast wouldn't have helped - but I thought a good turnout of people for the meeting - perhaps more of those that did go were driven inside by the weather?

Excellent turn out at Wrest Park on the Sunday after the run, we had 28 cars all lined up together in the Walled Garden Car Parking with 52 drivers & Passengers.
As we had to get everyone through into the house before part of it closed for a Wedding it was likened by someone as akin to herding cats Cheesy
However everyone had time to go aand have a look before the rooms closed, although the rooms containing the exhibition and all of the gardens were still open.
I then took a party of 26 on a tour of the Chinese Wallpapered Bedroom and dressing room, as well as the French Wallpapered room, using one of the steep servants staircases which were a bit of a struggle for some including me! as we were unable to use the lovely staircase  from the hall.

Wrest Park was an absolute delight, a real gem of a property.

Many thanks Brian for organising our visit and for your interesting and informative tour of the wallpaper rooms. Obviously in your element as a guide!

A rather special day today. Driving back from Suffolk I saw an orange(?) Lambda tourer on the A507 near Royston then a short time later a black two seater Lamda on the same road. A real treat.
