Beta Montecarlo seen in Page Street, Westminster this afternoon. And later glimpsed and heard rorting away down the Horseferry Road.

That Monte really looks something parked on the street.

I can't remember the last one I saw outside of a race paddock or an LMC meeting...

There is a red Integrale here in Wilton near Salisbury.

The owner also ownes a car repair bodyshop here which is quite handy as I think the car has spent some time within it!  But he drives it daily to work and so on and loves it.  It sounds great too.
It was seing this car that reminded me how much I liked them so I started looking for one.  Nice one though above my budget but in any case doubt if I could have coped with LHD.  Eventually found the Delta Turbo which I am very pleased with.  I am suprised at just how quick it is but then have not had a turbo car before.  Did have a Golf GTI mark 1 many years ago and the Delta seems much quicker.  Perhaps memory playing tricks but I dont think so.  It stops better too!

I forgot to post in here that I had spotted your daughter driving Boot along London Rd in Carlisle a couple of months ago.  I was in my Delta at the time.  Waves and smiles were exchanged!  Grin

Seen in the parkjing area of an industrial unit by Arlesey station in Bedfordshire today. No number plates, exhaust hanging off, radio and some air vents removed, a bit well worn but with full leather interior I think. Interesting......

A couple of Lancias spotted in Narbonne.  We saw something every time out. Tempted to buy a dry one?  Here's what's on offer in the region.  Betas and Y10s still, lots of Dedras, a Prisma.

The town:

If ever in Narbonne "Chez Bebelle" in the covered market is great fun, and a delicious horse steak.  He's an ex-rugby player setup next to all the butchers.  When an order comes in he picks up the megaphone to call it down to the appropriate butcher.  When ready they blast on their particular whistle for him to catch it as it is thrown back.  Another time I might chance the Tartare which was very popular there.

I was very pleased to see when we visited Narbonne back in the 1990's that McDonalds hadn't got away with their corporate image, and their place was painted blue.
The Lancia dealer in Narbonne was great and gave us a ride in what was then the new Kappa, even though I'd told him that we were unlikely to buy one. They also had a Y10 that had a clear panel in the tailgate and behind the panel was matching cloth to the interior.
Lovely place.

Beige Beta Coupe S2 Pre facelift DOO 43T on Pepper Lane, Standish at 5.30pm today. Had an orange interior, don't think it had rear headrests which would make it a 1300 but cannot be sure as soon as it had it appeared it had gone and I did not get a proper look. Think it had a small LMC badge on the grille but I don't recall ever seeing it (the car) before.

Yes. Owned by Gerry Hawkridge of Hawk cars (plate reads A 3.0 HF) and was being driven to/from the Stoneleigh Kit Car Show this weekend gone by his girlfriend, Ali Cobb. (And yes, Gerry also makes Ally Cobra replicas.... Kid you not!)

It's a replica in case you hadn't guessed!
