To the owner of the Red Montecarlo stopped at traffic lights in Cheadle, it was me that was waving from a green Saab 9000 Aero! Car looked lovely.

Turquoise L-reg Thema spotted about an hour ago in London's Covent Garden.  I don't normally stumble upon such sights during my lunchtime stroll....more's the pity.

Uckfield East Sussex Saturday afternoon the unmistakable sound of an Aurailia B20 being gunned up the high street. Lovely black or dark blue car. Probably Clive Winston? Modestine was tucked round the corner in the car park.

Early Sunday morning, grey LHD Flaminia Coupe passed me on the westbound M3 between Sunbury and the M25 junction.  Sounded absolutely lovely as it passed.

I was in my Prisma so there was a bit of waving going on!

Andy, might be your fellow Surbiton resident with his LHD Flaminia.

No, it was this car and it looks like he was on his way to Stanford Hall.

Andy

You make a great PI, you’re absolutely right I was having a morning run up to Stanford Hall. Did Neil say there’s a Flaminia in Surbiton, as I live next door in Kingston?

By the way the Prisma looked great.

Jay

Going through this post today and just realised that the above Black Monte 811CRV is my old car I gifted to Jez Pigden of the MC Consortium. I believe the deal was when he gets it through the MOT I can have the registration back.

Hi Jay

Yes, this one is owned by Stuart in Surbiton - he got it quite recently.

Thanks for your kind words on the Prisma.

Arnoud & Anuschka's blue Montecarlo on the road South out of Chipping Norton on Wednesday. Presume they've had a couple of weeks touring the UK after the National Weekend.

Walking on the road through Alexandra Park (north London) late last evening in clear moonlight - from behind me there was the sharp sound of tyres squeak and a rumble from a slowing engine. The car passed me slowly and in the lights of the car following I could see it was Integrale E249 NOW. I guess he hadn’t been much bothered about the 20 MPH limit on that road, which is never enforced anyway.

As I was parked on the roadside just off the A417 to the south of Didcot adjusting the c/b points on my Aprilia on Friday afternoon a dark blue Fulvia Sport motored past. Much to my chagrin it failed to stop, despite much arm-waving on my part.

(I was approaching the village of Aston Upthorpe having arranged to meet an old lady and remind her of the wonders of the Aprilia. Fortunately the operation on the points was successful and the lady was suitably impressed to be reminded of the car in which she had taken her driving test, around 1955!)

... this must be a first : spotted my own car being driven back from her grandparents by my daughter !

Unfortunately, given the monsoon downpours we've had today it seems to have suffered from a leak somewhere and so it's now out in the sun with everything open drying out the insides ... Sad any top tips for overnight drying techniques in the garage ?? I shall put the dehumidifier in the car on max ...
