Neil,
Yes it is there but I had to forward to items for sale, interesting as it would never have had that colour or even Alcantara from new, so someone has changed the interior, not surprising as the cloth in the 1.6's didn't stand up well to hard use, I'd be interested to know the registration number as quite a few years ago I sold Nigel Hargreaves a complete interior in the Olive Alcantara, as his red cloth interior had frayed badly, but that was a 1.8. It would certainly be unusual if it has heated seats as well, as I've never seen any fitted other than in a HF Turbo, and that certainly wouldn't have been in this style or colour of Alcantara.
Doesn't look bad , if I had anywhere to keep it I could be tempted.

Brian,

My 1990 white Dedra 2.0ie SE had Olive Alcantara heated electric front seats. It was one of the first "press" launch cars fully equipped and used by What Car? in their June 1990 edition competing against the Audi 90 & BMW 320i. (G812YAN)

2.0SE Spec had the heated electric front seats.

I remember that road test Paul... still have it somewhere. Didn't Dedra win every category and was then placed resoundingly bottom by What Car? Because basically it wasn't an Audi or a BMW. That was the edition that made me decide to stop getting What Car on a monthly basis!

Paul/Andy,
My first Dedra was a 1990 2.0iese H851 WMR which was white & had the Olive Alcantara, the electronic suspension, electronic heating control, sunroof, central locking, headlamp wash/wipe BUT no heated seats, from what I now know/found out since, very few 2.0iese's had the same specification, it also had a stick on Se logo on the boot lid, and was originally supplied by Pebley Beach as a Lease Hire Company car.
The 2 photos  of H851 WMR were at an Italian Car day somewhere in east Anglia, I can't remember the name of the place, does anyone recognise it? Autoitalia also took photos for an article about the Lancia Dedra, Alfa 75 & the Tipo Qaudravalvole comparing what you could get for your money with the 3 marques, it must have been about 1995/6, note the TSW wheels that looked quite good, at least I thought so, as I was bloody fed up trying to do something with the grotty standard alloys, although I prefer the style of the correct wheels, I'd had enough!
It also was a great car for carrying canoes on our trips to France.
3rd photo is of my first two Dedra's together. The Green one is a series 2 LE and was a right dog, can't believe I part swopped this one for a very nice series 3 Thema, but with a cash adjustment as well from the Dedra owner, no two ways about it, he got the best of the deal. last photo is of my 2 Black Dedra's one being an auto, funny but I seemed to collect Dedra's in pairs Roll Eyes Won a couple of prizes with K452 PLK at AGM's and wish I'd never sold it, it was also the only Dedra I've ever seen in the UK that didn't have the folding back seats.

That's quite correct Andy, the Dedra blitzed them both, however What Car? pulled it for quality (screw heads visible in Rose wood dash or something like that from memory) and thus it finished bottom which is a complete contradiction from their July '89 "Newcomers" report which stated "Lancia is back the Dedra oozes quality and appeal!"

Even today What Car? and the rest of the motoring press put Audi @ BMW top of their lists despite being boring, bland and common- even resales these days are much of a muchness, I just don't get it, Lancia/Alfa/Fiat could come up with the best product since sliced bread but would still lose to these Germans.

As an aside my Dedra did not come with the tacky stick on SE badge that some carried. The 1990 brochure stated the 2.0ie SE had electric heated seats as standard but the 1.8ie SE did not. I think in '91 there was a mild tweak to specifications at the time the turbo was launched and then the range was revamped again in '93 for the LE, LS & HF versions and this is perhaps Brian why your 2.0ie SE did not have the heated electric seats.

A friend of mine worked for Fiat Auto (UK) Ltd at the time of Dedra. As SE was a UK only spec ( on the continent the parts of the SE spec were all available individually, just as ES spec worked on UK Beta saloons) Fiat UK commissioned a batch of proper "SE" badges to be made to match the style and look of the "Dedra" badge. Unfortunately, the badges were delayed, and by the time they arrived, the SE spec had been dropped! (or so the story I was told goes) Somewhere at home I have one of the "proper" Dedra "SE" badges ......

Some SE cars were fitted with little SE transfers on the bootlid - usually by the selling dealers.

Andy
That stick one was what was on mine, and because it was a bit naf most people didn't think there was such a thing as a Dedra 2.0iese and that I'd put it on myself, it was only when I called into the Lancia Dealer, The Sports Car Centre at Drakes Broughton nr Worcester, that I found anyone who could tell me what I had, as there was no mention whatsoever of SE in the drivers handbook.

Brian/Andy,

This is unfortunately what happened to my Dedra 2.0ie SE in early '95. A culmination of a humped back bridge, black ice with a light snow covering, immediate sharp right hander and a farmers dry stone wall, despite my best efforts led to the demise of this vehicle.

Paul.
