I am taking part in this years Tour Auto (www.Tourauto.com) in my Flavia Zagato. Has anyone else taken part in this and could offer any tips?

Thanks,

I hope our chat at Race Retro was useful. Have you sorted the trip issue?

Hi Peter, it was very useful indeed and my compliments on the standard of the stand at Race Retro. I am still waiting for a response from the organisers. I did though have an interesting conversation with a prominent Lancia restoration and parts supplier who are preparing a Flaminia Coupe for the event and they have fitted Halda and other items that would seem to be outside the regulations as I read them.

On that event are there "rules" and "rules if you win"?   If so that tends to suit most.  The real danger is turning up to face half a dozen lawyers hell bent on not letting you run at all.

I once led a day of the Liege-Rome-Liege Rally until the results were modified during dinner. Luckily I had already consumed the champagne.
