Apparently, he did not buy it and bid for it, but was beaten by someone who REALLY wanted it, hence the price
Wish I had bought one when they were 35K... Cry

Yeah Paul, we talked about this at the GNW, if only back in early 2005 I had purchased a B20GT and 037 Rallye Stradale (subject to availability as they seldom come up for sale)for 30k & 50k respectively rather than my 328GTS & F355 Spyder i'd certainly have had a much bigger smile on my face.
