Not sure this is the correct part of the forum to be asking, but the question isn't really model specific.

I'm in the process of fitting new sills and s/f boxes to my Fulvia. The question is, what do you all think is the best way to go about protecting the metal inside the sills, that obviously is unpainted.

For those bits that are hidden (inside of sills) paint then with a "weld through" etch primer. Then drill a couple of 10mm access holes and give a yearly squirt of dinatrol or somesuch.

For the subframe boxes I would do the same to the enclosed surfaces, then paint the exposed surfaces again with a good dose of something like dintrol.
